My unique message to the world is the power behind the words of our mouths. We have made light of it but cannot escape the fruits thereof. For me, words are the unit of creation, the building block on which our existence evolves. This podcast is for everyone who wants to better their living by using words and applying themselves wisely. I will be using the storytelling style fused with imaginative nuances to transport the listener to that place, where possibilities are not luxuries but everyday experiences; movie in voice.
This podcast will emphasize the power of routine, and what you repeatedly do, you most likely build capacity and expertise for what you repeatedly do. My podcast will help the listener learn how to practice success because the same amount of time you use in complaining is the same you can use to plant, build, prune, etc. I intend to draw the listener's attention to the power of their words.

How would you describe something that is done with a sense of completion, not leaving any blemish or room to question the validity of the work done? I imagine you will exclaim, what an excellent job!
Well, this is how we feel when we encounter something of quality that stands out from the rest, it is not just the best, but it becomes the reference for and to others to follow. I have often encountered those who view excellence as something that is not ordinary but a quality reserved for an exclusive few whom they term exceptional. Is that the case?
On this episode of the Word Café, I am very honored to discuss this subject with someone who has exemplified what it means to be excellent, embrace it, own it, and be it. Her name is Bola Matel-Okoh
Bola Matel-Okoh is an Attorney with over 30 years of experience in diverse areas of judicial science encompassing legal research, investigation of cases, adjudication of clients’ claims, and transaction of client’s business.
A graduate of Olabisi Onabanjo University, she is admitted to The Nigerian Bar and the New York State Bar. She started her career in the banking sector as a Legal Assistant at the United Commercial Bank, Lagos Nigeria before proceeding to Legal practice both in Nigeria and the United States of America. Her legal experience spans the areas of Admiralty Law, Immigration Law, and participating in the final phase of a multi-billion insurance class action litigation.
In 2015 she was appointed as a Non- Executive Director of Wema Bank PLC. She is well-trained in the effectiveness of corporate boards, risk management, and advanced strategy for directors. She has attended training seminars at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland, INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France, and Harvard Business School in Boston, USA.
With an intense desire to be a beacon of hope globally, she attended the GEMSTONE Leadership Institute’s Executive Coaching Certificate Program, where she became a certified Executive coach.
She is the CEO of Havilah Ventures, an entrepreneurial outfit that encompasses businesses in real estate, corporate branding, and the health and wellness sector. She is the owner and Managing Director of N Lounge and Spa, where excellent customer service and satisfaction are paramount.
Coach BMO or PB as she is fondly called, is also the Associate Pastor at The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Jesus House, New Jersey. A firm believer that the excellence of God should be reflected in every area of our lives, she constantly strives to attain this in everything she does. She is the host of The Excellent Life Podcast, a Podcast designed to Inspire, motivate and challenge you to live a life of excellence. She has been married for 28 years to Pastor Matthew Okoh, and they have three sons. She is an advocate for strong Christian marriages.
