What does it truly mean to see tomorrow? Not through crystal balls or tea leaves, but through a profound relationship that transcends human understanding.

Join Amakri Isubuye, your neighborhood word trader, as he explores the fascinating concept of foreseeing the future through divine partnership. Drawing from popular culture examples like the TV show Eli Stone and a Nicolas Cage film, Amakri reveals how fictional characters' abilities to perceive future events were amplified through specific relationships – pointing to a deeper spiritual truth.

The cornerstone of this episode is Acts 1:8, where Jesus promises his disciples they would receive power through the Holy Spirit, enabling them to be witnesses from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth. This biblical foundation establishes that true foresight comes not from analytical thinking or data processing alone, but through spiritual connection.

While we value analysis and intelligence in today's world, Amakri argues these tools have limitations. They help us learn and understand, but revelation – seeing what cannot be naturally perceived – requires tapping into something beyond ourselves. This relationship-based vision doesn't typically arrive all at once, but in "bite-sized" portions that guide our next steps without overwhelming us with the entire journey.

For those seeking to develop this capacity to see tomorrow, the message resonates clearly: invest in your relationship with the Holy Spirit. This divine partnership transforms how you perceive time and possibility – not just predicting the future, but helping shape it with certainty rather than probability.

Ready to see beyond the horizon of your current understanding? Listen now and discover how you might walk into tomorrow with clarity and purpose through the ultimate visionary partnership.

Speaker 1:

Hello there, welcome to the World Cafe podcast. This podcast has been designed with created content that centers on the power of words. Can we really do anything without speaking? Can we really do anything without the agency of words? Yes, that is what this podcast is all about, and I am your host, amakri Isubuye, your neighborhood word trader. I believe in the power of words, for it is the unit of creation. I trade in words to profit my world.

Speaker 1:

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, good everything. How are you all doing? How are you all doing? Oh, yes, it's good to be back in this space. Oh, yes, how are you?

Speaker 1:

I must ask that question, not just rhetorically now, like really, how are you? I know it's been challenging, but you know, before I came on, I was just muttering to myself uh, what a wonderful time to be alive. You know, we're experiencing so many things on on earth today. You know, wherever you turn, you just have this thing you, I will call it a human thing and it's like we're going through this phase. So a lot, a lot. I'm good, I'm good and I'm super excited. You know, each time I come into this space, sincerely, I must tell you this I just imagine you listening. Yes, and you know listening to me, getting encouraged, hearing those things that would move you to the next phase or next step you want to take, and you have this energy that rises or surges within you, and I'm grateful to God for this. Really I am, and you're the reason why we're here. Yes, so you know how we say it. This is the space where we come in to lean on one another's experience, to forge a positive path. The word cafe ah, so beautiful. So what are we going to be doing today?

Speaker 1:

Well, this period most of my what I call it thought alone, thoughts, not without a guest now has been centered around change and all of that, and you will agree with me, that is the constant. You know your ability to understand change would help you go through life in such an amazing way. So today I'm looking at something it's been with me for a while, honestly, and you know this is how it happens for me Each time a thought hits me, I sit down and I try to curate it, I ponder on it, I do, you know, one or two research, you know, indeed, yes, I go around, I try to like, check and all of that, and I sit with my wife and I try to share with her first. Yes, honestly, I do that, and sometimes you just look at me like this is so abstract or something, or this is so deep and all of that. So, but that's how it comes. So I need to share it.

Speaker 1:

And lately I've been having this thought about tomorrow. Yes, tomorrow, we all are racing. If you ask anybody, if you see anybody, you don't necessarily have to ask, even on the street, you just hear it's like we're chasing after something, you know, and it's like we're running after something, and that thing we're looking for is where tomorrow is, like the future we want to, like, you know, if you ask anybody to define the future, what comes literally, you know, what comes readily to their mind. It's like tomorrow, something you are looking up and all of that. And so, in cause of chasing, in cause of going after these things, you come to see your life changing before your very eyes. Yes, you come to see your person changing and if you really take note of it, you would see yourself more or less like transforming. There's this change, you know, and you can't quite place it when it began and you can't quite place it when it began, but somehow, when you get to that destination you're looking at, you would turn back and like, wow, a lot has happened.

Speaker 1:

So what are we going to be talking about today? The man who sees tomorrow? That's the title, or the topic, or what I want to talk about. I know, when you hear that, what comes to your mind, for those of us who has been following history and all that, is the man who saw tomorrow, nestor damas. Well, I'm not talking about the man who saw like cast in stone. I'm talking about the man who sees. The man who sees tomorrow. Man here is man, woman, yes, man and woman, man and woman, male, female, yes, the man who sees tomorrow. Who is that man? Who can you define as that man? And you know the way we do it on the show.

Speaker 1:

Storytelling will be part of it and I'm going to begin with this. Two stories I'm going to share with you today, based on some movies I have seen in the past and I think readily brings to mind or to the fore this topic, this thought yes, there's a lot going on, a lot, and if we try to put what I say timelines to these things and try to like trace them backwards, we'll come to see the changes that have occurred also say I'm living in my tomorrow that I envisaged some years ago or some time ago, and those times I refer to as tomorrow, and eventually tomorrow, those tomorrows are now. Should I say in the past, as it were. All right then where? All right then. So you look at it plethora of examples, plethora of events pointing to tomorrow, that words that has come to be and we are yet expecting. So how do I approach it? So I remember this movie, eli stone. I know I've talked about it on this show before.

Speaker 1:

You know Eli Stone a lawyer, I think that was in. It was shot in San Francisco. Yes, that movie. Yes, eli Stone, you can check it out. So Eli Stone had this gift. He was a lawyer, a practicing lawyer, but who could see the future? Who could see tomorrow? Who could see tomorrow? Who could see things, events before they happen? And his gift led him to take cases that were more or less pro bono, that they had there's a moral story and to change the landscape of, should I say, maybe in housing or in marriage, or in schooling or whatever. So he goes for those things and his colleagues were kind of, you know, like they were weary. Why would you a good lawyer of your standing, and all that. That he could see the future he could see tomorrow. You know he could see the future he could see tomorrow, you know, and he went for those things that could define, you know, the future, things that could change tomorrow. That would place people to think. The last episode that I saw I don't think they went on with it again he saw the san francisco bridge, the golden gate bridge, you know, collapsing and all of that, and he said it to his colleagues and they thought he was mad. He told them when it would happen, exact time, and all that. And the day it was to happen, he left the office, you know, he mustered the courage, stood on the table I've been one of the decks in the office and he announced that he's leaving because this is about to happen. And, just truly, he left exactly that time it happened. So his boss, you know, somehow has been taking note of him and he's like we need more in a corporate setting now. We need more of Eli Stones, you know, in corporate environments that can actually tell us. You know, when we get into business, all we think about is profit making. Yeah, I understand, yeah, but there is a tomorrow. Yes, there is a tomorrow. So he said that and that's where it ended. So hold that thought there.

Speaker 1:

Eli Stone had this gift based on a relationship. I will tell you why. Another story I have to share with you from another movie by nicholas cage. I forgot the name of that movie now, but in this movie nicholas cage, who I've seen, he plays you know he likes roles like playing roles like this in movies that sees him to be doing one or two I wouldn't call it magical now, but things that are outerworldly, so to say.

Speaker 1:

Ah yes, so he had this ability to see, I think, five minutes or two minutes before something happens. You know he has this gift and, as usual, fbi and the rest of them, they come looking for him and you know, and all of that. But he got into a relationship with this lady and he realized each time he is with this lady he could see far beyond minutes, hours, days, months. He could see way into years and all of that. And I think one of the last scenes in the movie was the lady died, she died, and that vision he saw, so to say, that thing he saw boom like, brought more insight to this ability. So it's like, each time I'm with her, I see farther than the ordinary, farther than normal. So he was in this relationship that heightened his ability to see. So in this partnership I want to call it, or relationship, that is like a partnership he could tap into something you may call it hyper or something higher, operationally speaking that heightened his senses and he could see.

Speaker 1:

Yes, so you know, man is a spirit. He dwells in a body and he has a soul. You can take that away. That is who we are and we walk on this principle. Like I said, we're going after something and sometimes, if you ask that question, do you know what you're going after? A lot of us, that's the truth, don't quite know it, but deep within it is like deep within the resources of your being, the core of your being, there's this yearning and you want to move and you want to be like. Every day you're going after it. When you rise, in the morning, when you go through the day. Yes, we want to call it. We may want to call it purpose, yes, we may want to call it purpose, but each tomorrow that comes, there is an aspect of the purpose that you don't know. It's like, yes, I've seen this and ah, but it's not complete. And you go after it again and you keep going.

Speaker 1:

But the two stories I just laid before you now, eli stone and, uh, nicholas, cage in that in these movies, because they were in a, in this relationship, it gave them the ability to see far and the courage to take responsibility, to be responsible, to act on them. Yes, so juxtaposing or dwelling on these two stories, before I came on, you know, as part of what I do, I was sharing with my wife. I said can you imagine this story from the Bible Acts, chapter 1, verse 8. I'm going to use that to further buttress my point on the man who sees tomorrow. You know, when Jesus was to leave, he told them about what was to happen. He told them about tomorrow, not just their tomorrow, tomorrow, yes, in a broader global, would I say, celestial or galactic sense. Yes, he told them about.

Speaker 1:

So these things were so humongous, like we'll say in Nigeria, huge, you know, and they couldn't quite comprehend it. So he said to them but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in Judea, in Samaria and to the ends of the earth. So now listen. Your tomorrow depends on one factor the coming of the Holy Spirit, your relationship with Him. Now, for you to see all of Jerusalem, for you to see all of Judea, for you to see all of Samaria and to the ends of the earth, is a function of your relationship with the Holy Spirit. So, seeing tomorrow is not about being analytical, putting together all the facts, putting together all the theorems, putting together all the data and your mind, and all of that. No, it's beyond that. Yes, that's a given, that's a given. It helps your learning, it helps your intelligence, but it doesn't help your revelation.

Speaker 1:

What you need to understand the future, what you need to walk into your tomorrow, the tomorrow that tomorrow is a function of the relationship you have. And that's what Jesus said to them. You want to see the whole of Jerusalem? Okay, all right. You want to see the whole of Samaria? Okay, all right. You want to see the whole of Judea? Okay, all right. You want to get to the ends of the earth. There's only one thing or one person that will help you the holy spirit. And that's what he said to them, like a relationship you have to you in bits and pieces, or in bites, as we want to call it bite sizes. So this is what I see, you know, when we look at the future, when we want to talk about the future, when we want to embrace the future, when we want to walk into the future, there is a lot of I mean, there are a lot of decisions going on out there today based on being analytical. That's good. I mean from my practice, hr practice I believe in you know analysis. Yeah, I think my first, when I was employed, my first job title was HRO, analytical Officer or something. I can't remember it quite now, but it had to do with data. So how to you gather data, how to process, how to mine and how to tell you know how to, as we would want to call it, how to predict with him. It's not a prediction, it's a knowing, it's a certainty, and you walk. So more or less you shapeshift time. You change things. Yes, because look at that From where they were. Even the story I just told you, from where they were standing.

Speaker 1:

Eli Stone was a lawyer. How much can he read, how much can he know from his legal practitioner profession, from Nicolas Cage's position? How much can he trick? How much can he trick? How much can he flip? So how much can you know, how much can you gather the data and all of that?

Speaker 1:

But when you are in that relationship, you come to tap from the senior partner in that relationship who freely gives because there is something to be done, there is an assignment to like, have, and this relationship helped them to craft visions, visions that starts from Jerusalem, goes to Judea, goes to Samaria and it goes far to the ends of the earth. It touches. Yes, as you hear my voice now, I don't know what the ends of the earth looks like. Yeah, I don't. But in that relationship, following the senior partner, I can, yes, follow his, I mean his leading, yeah, and that's what I came to share with you today.

Speaker 1:

You want to see tomorrow, you want to know your tomorrow. You see, that's why you know, we have things like Horoscoping, you know, and trying to study these celestial bodies and all of that. Well, those things are limited in themselves, I must tell you, but the relationship with the Holy Spirit changes everything, where the Holy Spirit changes everything. Now, this is a personal conviction and experience I'm sharing with you on the show today. How far can you see? How well can you define tomorrow? How knowledgeable do you think you are to walk into tomorrow? Well, I was told for you to see father, or father, or father, as the case may be you have to sit on the shoulders of the father or the fathers. So the fathers sat on whose shoulders? So that is what we came to do on the show today the man who sees tomorrow.

Speaker 1:

Now, I'm not talking about the man who saw tomorrow, I'm not talking about predictions here. I am talking about relationship, yep, working into the future, not based on your confidence now, not based on your intuition, as you want to call it, but based on the revelation he has given to you. Yes, guys, that's why I'm here. I hope this has blessed you as it has Me. Alright, then, you know how we say it on the show. This is the space where we come in To lean on one another's experience, to forge a positive path, and this is what the world cafe is all about. I'm super happy, super excited, that you were there listening and you were there receiving. All right, then, till I come your way again. Bye for now.
